Reserved Seats

Reserved Seats on the Basis of A-Level, Hifz-Quraan, Overseas Pakistani's Children, GCU Staff Children, Special Persons with Disability, Sports/Co-Curricular Activities and Minorities. 30 September 2020 is the Last Date for submitting Applications for Reserved Seats can be submitted in CS Department Office.Candidates have to register as general seats on BSCS admission wesbite also. University Admission Office will announce Interview/Trials schedule for Reserved Seats .

  1. A small number of seats is reserved according to GCU rules.
  2. Admission against each seat will be according to merit distribution for that category.
  3. Schedule of Reserved Seats for year 2020 will be announced later.
  4. Interviews/tests against each reserved category will be conducted according to schedule displayed in CS Department.
  5. Disabled Candidates do not need to apply online. They can only submit paper form in CS Department, with other documents.
A-Level Certificate Holders:
  1. A-Level Certification holders admission will be based on their IBCC equivalence Certificate.
  2. A-Level setudents will have to bring their original documents on given date and time.
  3. After brief checking, qualified A-level students will be inclulded in Merit List

Hifz e Quraan:
  1. No separate seat is allocated.
  2. Hafiz e Quraan will be asked to submit Hifz Certificate in CS Department Office.
  3. A panel will take verbal examination of candidate and will decide whether the candidate qualifies or not.
  4. A candidate who passed Hifz e Quraan Exam, will be given extra 20 marks out of 1100, added into Intermediate Marks Weightage.

Children of Overseas Pakistani Parents.
  1. Candidate's real parent/legal guardian should be employed/resident in a foreign country in previous two years (2018-20)
  2. Any Pakistani living outside and having Pakistan Origin Card, Domicile, Pakistani CNIC, or NADRA overseas CNIC card can be considered as overseas Pakistani.
  3. A valid passport, Work visa, A valida Aqama, Work permit and/or relevant document are required as a proof.
  4. All documents must be attested by the relevant embassy or other foreign department's attesting service.
  5. Candidate, along with his/her parent will be called for interview and document checking.
  6. Separate Merit list will be prepared for such candidates and admission will be purely on the order of merit.
  7. Candidates seeking admission on overseas basis will have to pay extra fees at the time of admission.

GC University Lahore's staff son/daughter;
  1. Candidate, along with his/her parent will be called for interview.
  2. Separate Merit list will be prepared for such candidates and admission will be purely on the order of merit.

Disabled Students;
  1. Candidate should have a permanent disability certification from Government's relevant department.
  2. GC University's Medical Board will examine the nature of disability and decide the Admission.

Sports/co-curricular Activities.
  1. Candidate must have represented his/her previous institute at minimum Provincial or National level.
  2. Only Individual Based games/cocurricular activities are accepted in Science Subjects.
  3. Players of Team-based games like hockey, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball etc cannnot apply in Science Subjects.
  4. Candidate must have won at least one position in a Provincial or National Level Competition.
  5. English/Urdu Debaters and Speech-Prize winners are encouraged and prefered.
  6. Candidate will have to appear before GC University's relevant Sports/ Co-curricular Societies Board, for verification of his/her certificates and for a trial in his/her category.
